All Saints Church Gurnard Junior Church Team

Hi there we have a Junior Church that runs during the school term times.

We provide imaginative and creative sessions based on a curriculum provided by the Diocese. This follows the Bible readings for each week's worship. We also include in our plan, mission based activities, including in times past a Soup Lunch in aid of Christian Aid when we raised £80!

We use all sorts of resources to help us explain the faith we believe and the religion that we follow. We do this with great enthusiasm and fun trying to use as many natural resources as we can and trying to avoid too much paperwork for either the children or for ourselves!

The Junior Church meets in normal times in the Garden Room behind the church at 0945 hrs and we join the rest of the congregation at the end of the service. We try to get into the service to have a blessing but are often very busy in the middle of an activity or challenge to leave the garden room. Sometimes we go in to show the congregation something that we have been doing too.

There is a display board at the back of the church near the children's corner where we display some of our creations and some information about our sessions.
